The power of the lawyer is in the uncertainty of the law.

- Jeremy Bentham

Increasingly the thrust behind fast growing organisations, in-house legal counsel are constantly dealing with shifting corporate realities, resource constraints and unique challenges and uncertainties, a fact that could not have been clearer. This was the underlying theme of the two-day conference where the entire delegation agreed that in-house legal counsel now have a stronger say in critical decision making processes and play a focal and pertinent role in formulating and implementing strategy in today’s dynamic business environments.

Why Legal Counsel Congress India?

After the immense success of our inaugural Legal Counsel Congress in April 2010 and based on your feedback, we decided to make the second edition of this forum bigger and better and catering exclusively to the needs of in-house counsel. Over the last few months we have conducted extensive research into issues that you face in executing your everyday role; the balancing and juggling acts you perform and challenges have to tackle to make sure your company does not make the legal tightrope snap.

Legal Counsel Congress India 2011 is designed to get your peer group from across verticals on one platform to engage, share, and imbibe lessons from one another. The conference will help you discover how to:

  • tackle new challenges and adopt evolving best practices,
  • implement effective litigation strategies; learn from practical examples
  • maneuver the M&A, FDI and tax labyrinth
  • steer safely through business critical risks
  • spearhead growth in new and volatile locations
